Výzkumný pracovník - chemik junior

We are seeking a junior chemist for the grant project AMULET, which focuses on the advanced engineering of multiscale materials, from sub-nanometer design to integration into functional architectures for various applications. The position is associated with a subproject dedicated to studying the biocompatibility of implantable materials. It will involve the use of both experimental and computational techniques. Experimentally, this position will combine surface chemistry methods with fluorescence microscopy techniques. Computationally, it will include classical molecular dynamics simulations of interfacial systems.

The applicant will work in the Department of Computational Chemistry in the group of Prof. Lukasz Cwiklik (https://www.jh-inst.cas.cz/~cwiklik/) in J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry, Prague, Czech Republic.

Why to join: J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry in Prague is a world-wide respected scientific institution with over two hundred scientists: ranging from promising young researchers to world-renowned experts. The performed basic and applied research mainly focuses on physical-chemical processes taking place in molecules and atoms, which are important for industrial catalysis, energy production and storage, biology as well as health care and the environment.
