Development of a process for the abatement of nitrogen oxides for industrial applications for especially demanding conditions

Abstract: The project aims to develop a catalyst for the abatement of NO and NO2 by their selective reduction with ammonia in the demanding conditions of industrial processes, which are characterized by temperatures of 400-500 °C and the presence of high concentrations of NO2 in outlet stream (NO2/NO ratio above 1.5) System will provide a minimum slip of ammonia and will eliminate secondary formation of N2O. Another objective is the development of structure and technology of high-temperature catalyst for catalytic decomposition of N2O on the molecular components at temperatures of 800-930 °C in the so-called secondary level.
